Mojo
I lost a good friend back in April and haven’t written since.
He was a writer, a poet really, and a good one. We first met at a writing group and became long term friends. He was my motivator, guide, critic, inspirer and coach – he appears in Minerva Agenda, sometimes as the character, but certainly in name and location. Pete had started working with me on both of my potential next novels, one is “book 2” in the Mancini series (Minerva Agenda), the second is a new story based around a resurgent modern day IRA.
Then he died – heart attack.
I have only recently got my mojo back to start writing again. I’ve missed not having the big Englishman around to discuss plots, twists, characters – and cracking the whip. Well, it’s been long enough, time to get writing again.
I think you’ll like the next one Pete.
